Collision Estimator/Repair Planner
Alliance Collision Ltd. has been in business for 30 years in Durham Region. Our busy auto body shop is looking for an exceptional individual to fill the full-time position as an Automotive Repair Planner/Estimator. In this role, you will be responsible for handling moderate to complex physical damage appraisals, assessing damage and completing re-inspections for quality assurance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete appraisals and negotiate with insurance company’s on proper repair methods and pricing
- Submit supplement requests to appraisers for approval including photos, service invoices, part invoices and the supplement estimate
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance appraisers and adjusters
- Keeping up with market trends and prices
- Attend training seminars
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of estimating/collision appraising automobile physical damages
- Clear knowledge of the Automotive and Collision industry
- Familiar with insurance company policies & procedure
- Possess technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs
- Thorough knowledge of Mitchell, Repair Planner and Audatex estimating systems
- Must have a good working knowledge of the collision industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude
